The FREE Debit MasterCard, available with our Checking accounts, offers unparalleled purchasing power and convenience. Basic Overdraft Protection

Protect yourself from the embarrassment and expense of bounced checks with our Basic Overdraft Protection, available for both FREE Checking and Preferred Checking. You can arrange to have funds automatically transferred from your savings account, or from a personal line of credit (credit approval required) to cover overdrafts.

Courtesy Pay

WCU is here to help by providing a reserve for emergencies or unexpected situations. Courtesy Pay is a service that can automatically help protect you against having your checks or ACH withdrawals returned in the event of an inadvertent overdraft of your checking account.

There is a higher fee associated with Courtesy Pay than with an automatic transfer or personal line of credit use, however, you are only charged if you overdraw your account. Your account must be returned to a positive balance within 30 days. We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means that we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of overdraft transaction. We do not authorize and pay overdrafts for ATM and everyday Debit Card transactions unless you “Opt In” to receive this protection. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft your transaction will be declined.
