Worcester Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucas J. Miller as President & Chief Executive Officer. Miller, who has been serving as Interim President & CEO since July, 2024, brings over two decades of leadership and financial expertise to the role.

“To say I am deeply honored to be part of such a phenomenal team and to be leading a nonprofit like Worcester Credit Union would be an understatement. We already had a healthy foundation in place when I came on board, and our mission since is to continue building on that foundation piece by piece so that we provide the highest level of service and benefit that we possibly can to each and every member,” said Miller.

Prior to Worcester Credit Union, Miller served as Executive Vice President & General Counsel for Worcester-based Bay State Savings Bank and in other roles such as Director of Grants & Compliance for the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, a national HUD-certified nonprofit that helped millions of Americans fight foreclosure in the wake of the 2007-08 financial crisis.

Miller obtained his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Worcester State University.
