Worcester CU Supporting the Regional Environmental Council (REC)

Worcester Credit Union presented a check in the amount of $250.00 to the Regional Environmental Council (REC) YouthGROW program which provides Worcester teens (ages 14-18) leadership development and personal growth experiences as well as employment opportunities in urban agriculture. Youth participants earn an hourly wage while they plan, plant, tend and harvest organic produce on two urban farms located in Worcester, while learning crucial work habits, gaining job and life skills, and increasing their self-confidence and community engagement.
