The Massachusetts Credit Unions' Social Responsibility Committee and the Massachusetts Coalition for Homeless thank Worcester Credit Union

Worcester Credit Union joined Credit Unions across Massachusetts to give the gift of a good night’s sleep to children in our state who are growing up in poverty, through the coalition’s A Bed for Every Child initiative.
On behalf of the Massachusetts Credit Unions’ Social Responsibility Committee and the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, we Thank You for your generous donation in 2019 to support the efforts of A Bed for Every Child, an initiative of the Coalition.
Once again, credit unions are proving that they make a difference. Collectively, contributions from seventy-four credit unions and supporters played a significant role in helping the Coalition give the gift of a good night’s sleep to 2,229 children in Massachusetts. A total of $232,668.13 was raised during the year and sent to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless on behalf of the Massachusetts Credit Unions to continue providing beds for children growing up in poverty. The check presentation will be made at the Stephen Jones Charity golf Tournament on June 25.
The philosophy of people helping people will always be unique to credit unions. Credit union contributions exemplify this and throughout the year will help the Massachusetts Coalition for the homeless provide A Bed for Every Child. For this we are grateful to you and hope that we can count on your support in 2020.
