Thanking the WCU Staff for Their Donation

A letter from South High Community School thanking the WCU staff for their donation to Andy’s Attic
Dear Miss Perrin,
South High School’s mission statement is to inspire students to achieve the highest standard of intellectual and personal development by providing a stimulating and comprehensive education. Our onsite Andy’s Attic feeds into this mission by providing to students and their families warm and comfortable clothing so that they can advance in everyday life, and can succeed in school. Our clothing pantry is in operation year-round and is located inside South High School.
We do not pay rent, utilities, taxes, we have no payroll, no stipends are paid, and the organization is run solely by students, who give their time under the guidance of a teacher volunteer. Most donations are of the gently used clothing variety and one hundred percent of our cash donations are spent on underwear, socks, shoes, sneakers, gloves and some winter coat s. To read about more of what we do and how we do it, please visit our website at www.andysattic.org. You are welcome to visit us and tour our facility and see us in operation.
With your faithful contribution you have demonstrated your deep commitment to our work. Your support has played a key role in our success in reducing students’ basic needs . This in turn reduces our dropout rate and in general increases our students’ chances of success .
We wish to thank you for your charitable donation of $450.00. It is businesses like you who help us to achieve our goals and mission. There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your loyalty. We at Andy’s Attic are continuously inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like yourself who answer the call to give.
Sincerely,
Paul Burgess
